A New Jersey native, A.I.Bayroff is a writer, designer, and voice-over artist based in New York City. His first book, The Stuff Type Is Made Of, was published by Prentice-Hall, Pearson Education, in 2000 and adopted by over 130 higher education facilities across the United States and abroad.

Since his success with Prentice Hall, he has gone on to self-publish two coffee table books, Pushing The Hack and Check, Please!, and three novels, Midpoint, Harvest, and his latest title, Sunshine.​
